Job Description

  • The candidate shall have in depth knowledge of the applicable design software, such as AutoCAD, Microstation & Plantspace. Familiar with Microsoft software, such as Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • The candidate shall acquire a working Knowledge of bag house and bag house internal including the general arrangement and associated equipment layout as applicable to large utility bag house utilized in the coal fired power plant. The candidate shall be made aware of and familiarized with codes & standards that have an effect on his work. This position required the basic mechanical and structural engineering knowledge with academic skill to calculate and develop cost effective solution.
  • Excellent verbal, written, social, & writing skills!
  • Ability to work well in a group, as well as alone.
  • Capable of produce accurate drawings & 3D models from verbal or written instructions, including sketches, specifications & preliminary diagrams with minimal supervision. Will self-start without being prompted.
  • The candidate shall work in the Plant Design Proposal Group where basic layouts of the HPSA product specially to perform bag house and bag house internal layout and design. So as not to lose his BSME skills, the candidate shall be called upon to perform simple beam calculations, Caesar runs & other similar programs as we deem necessary.
  • Educational requirements: BSME or accredited University or College with minimum 5 years direct bag house layout experience in air quality control system.
