Qualifications

  • Fully capable of using the applicable design software, such as AutoCAD, Microstation & Plantspace. Familiar with Microsoft software, such as Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Working Knowledge of ASME & ANSI codes, particularly ASME B31.1 & B31.3, as well as ANSI B16 standards. Aware of and familiar with other codes & standards that have an effect on his work.
  • Fully knowledgeable in Baghouse (Fabric Filter) Layout of compartments, ductwork, associated operational systems and the like. To include but not limited to air systems and related piping systems.
  • Superior verbal, social, & writing skills!
  • Ability to work well in a group, as well as alone.
  • Capable of producing accurate drawings & 3D models from verbal or written instructions, including sketches, specifications & preliminary diagrams with minimal supervision. Will self-start without being prompted.
  • Has the ability to check others work for accuracy & adherence to accepted standards, as well as compliance with the Customer Specifications. Possesses the ability to lead & advise other employees in a lower classification.
  • Educational requirements: A minimum of a 1 year curriculum in a Design Drafting school with 15 years experience or Associates degree in Engineering with 10 years experience or 25 years experience in an Engineering environment.
