Typical applications for the power industry are Boiler Feed-Pump and Reactor Feed-Pump drives. Hitachi steam turbine drives have extensive operating hours in power plants from 250 to 1000 MWs. Experience Lists are available upon request.
Hitachi has contracted in North America for one set (two units) of steam turbine drives for Walter Scott, Jr. Energy Center, Unit 4, J.K. Spruce Unit 2, Trimble County Unit 2; Sandy Creek Energy Station, and two sets for Elm Road Units 1 and 2.
